Over 300 cases of acid attacks are reported in India yearly. A women needs to be in constant fear of not only the violation of her body but also of her face. One glance, one step, one “no” could lead to such destruction.

This mixed media piece portrays the aftermath of an acid attack. It highlights the severity of such cases and brings to light the high occurence. Such cases are overlooked by media in India and Nepal, this aims to remind people of the urgency.
